Hutchison launches new container terminal at Laem Chabang Port
Leading Thailand port operator Hutchison Ports Thailand introduced its $600m Terminal D facility at Port of Laem Chabang, where the first section will comprise 400m of deepwater berths, three super post-panamax quay cranes and 10 supporting electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes, and will be ready for operations in mid-2018.

Thailand’s $7bn railway draws Siemens and Bombardier
Thailand plans an auction in June for a high-speed rail project to link the country’s three major international airports, with Germany’s Siemens and Bombardier of Canada regarded as two of the leading potential bidders.
